Fishing

Thanks to a strong conservation effort, including a slot limit on Walleye and an intensive stocking program, fishing on Falcon Lake is the best it has been in years. Locals know that it is one of the best kept secrets in Manitoba.

Both Falcon Lake Marina and our sister marina across the late, Faloma Beach Marina, have an excellent stock of fishing rods and baits, plus licences of course. We have a complete selection of the lures that work best in our area, and we will do our best to give you good advice to ensure that you have an enjoyable experience on the water.

Whether you come out in the mornings and evenings for Walleye, cast top water for Bass in June and July, or go for that big Northern Pike,  fishing on Falcon Lake is convenient and rewarding.  Check out some of the fish caught recently in our area to the right.

And, if you want to get away from the crowds, Falcon offers access to some remote trout fishing lakes. Experience the peacefulness of Rainbow Trout fishing on Camp Lake, or the tranquility of High Lake and it?s Lake Trout, Whitefish and Northern Pike. Both are just a short portage from the east end of Falcon Lake. Map

There is plenty of other good fishing to be had in the Whiteshell.  With dozens of lakes to choose from, there?s a new adventure around every corner. Just be sure to stop by the Falcon Lake or Faloma Beach Marinas to stock up.
